Jackson Turner, PHD, LP

 Dr. Jack Turner is a Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice for over 25 years and has experienc working with adults and teens with a wide range of concerns and difficulties, including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, self-esteem problems, relationship concerns, anger, OCD, ADHD, personality disorders and closed head injuries. Dr. Turner also works with families and adults on parenting issues. He is eclectic and flexible in practice, tailoring his approach to psychotherapy to individual needs, and uses psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal and humanistic therapeutic methods. Dr. Turner also performs psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological assessments with all ages as a major component of his practice, including evaluations and testing for ADHD, learning disabilities, dementia, memory problems, personality issues, and closed head injuries.

Peggy Zinser, PHD

Peggy Zinser is a fully licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years experience with a variety of behavioral health issues. She spent several years working on an inpatient psychiatric unit and dealt with a variety of psychiatric disorders. In addition, she worked many years in an Oncology department assisting both patients and their families in adjusting to their illnesses and coping with issues related to death, dying, grief and loss. She believes establishing a caring therapeutic relationship is at the core of effective treatment. Peggy encourages patients to explore and share their feelings in a non-judgmental manner. Dr. Zinser received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio in 1990. She obtained her full license to practice in the state of Michigan in 1992.

Mary Ann Corneliussen, LMSW

Mary Ann believes in providing a safe and nurturing environment.  She usse a person centered approach to look beneath your symptoms and what you are experiencing to understand the cause.  Insight can only occur when we look deeply inside of ourselves.  And, through this process we can become a higher version of ourselves.

As a licensed Clinical Social Worker and Recreational Therapist,  Mary Ann has over 20 years experience working in the mental health field.  Because of her many years in clinical practice in various treatment settings (Inpatient Units, Crisis and Emergency Care, Partial Hospital Programs and Outpatient Units) she utilizes an array of interventions to include cognitive and insight orientated therapies to stress management and mindfulness techniques.  She is skilled to do both individual therapy and group therapy.

Shari Cimino, MS, LPC, NCC 

Shari Cimino is committed to serving you and the needs of your family wherever you may be on your emotional path. She offers practical tools to assist you with challenges in the areas of:  faith, depression, anxiety, ADHD, marriage enrichment, grief and loss, parenting/step pareting, and blended families.  

She is a licensed professional counselor who aspires to strengthen and empower each person towards a successful therapeutic outcome.

Sharon Garant, MSW, CSW

Sharon Grant’s goal is to assist clients in the exploration and resolution of their problems, using a range of therapeutic methods. She provides therapy for women and men who are struggling with bi-polar disorder, depression, life issues and other stressful life problems.

She is a clinical social worker, having graduated in 1999 and has over 20 years of diverse therapeutic experience.

James Stanislaw, ACSW

James R. Stanislaw is a state-licensed clinical social worker with additional post-graduate training in individual psychotherapy. He has been practicing for over 40 years and has a particular interest and expertise working with people diagnosed with a character disorder.

William Laffrey, MA, LLP

Bill Laffrey is a Masters Level, Limited Licensed Psychologist.  He attained his Master of Arts degree from Wayne State University, College of Education, in the School and Community Psychology Program. From there, he subsequently completed coursework in Theoretical and Behavioral Foundations program at Wayne State's College of Education.  He has been practicing since 1993.  Bill’s experience includes work with individuals across the lifespan, in environments such  hospital inpatient and day hospital programs, community mental health, and private practice.  He currently treats adults with a variety of mental health issues.  Upon referral from a physician, he will administer psychological and neuropsychological assessments for conditions ranging from Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Closed Head Injury, Dementia, etc. 

JILL ALLEN, LSCW, MSW

Jill Allen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters degree in social work from Wayne State University.  She served two full-year internships in this program with a concentration in both clinical and school social work.  She has been in practice over 25 years working with clients who struggle with a wide range of difficulties. These may include Anxiety Disorders, Major Depression and other mood disorders, including Bipolar Disorder, Grief and Loss counseling, relationship issues, self-esteem problems, and personality disorders.  She has worked with many  Eating Disorders using a family therapy approach.  She has also done extensive work with clients who have parenting issues and has worked with these parents when children have emotional impairment, autism, ADHD, and relationship issues relative to these impairments.  Jill uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)  which often includes Insight Therapy.  

As a parent of  children herself, she has had unique experience in both (1) helping parents with children who have a diagnosis of cancer and/or other serious illnesses, and (2) counseling parents who have problems related to the area of competitive sports at a higher level of competition.

Jill has facilitated groups in both psychiatric facilities for adolescents, and in hospital settings for adults.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with an MA in counseling, an MS in Administration and a BA in Social Work.  I am a fully trained EMDR practitioner and a certified Cognitive Behavioral therapist. As a clinical therapist, I use an integrative approach to help clients reach their optimum goals. I offer a warm,supportive, and safe therapeutic environment with compassion and non-judgment.

In my practice, I am trained in and use: Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy Therapy (IPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) strategies to address the specific issues of each client. I have a diverse background in addressing multiple clinical issues which includes mood and thought disorders, PTSD and trauma, anxiety and depression, and life stage transition as it pertains to the aging process. These strategies have served my practice in multiple settings; awoman’s domestic violence shelter, an intensive outpatient day treatment program, physical therapyoffices as the social worker on staff, and in a private practice mental health care agency.

Jenna holds a Masters Degree as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She obtained her degree from Oakland University in the School of Education and Human Services. She completed her coursework with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health.
Jenna's experience includes working with all different cultures and diversities. She has practiced in schools, universities, private practices, psychiatric day programs and substance abuse facilities.
Jenna is a very positive and uplifting individual that studied from a humanistic and holistic background. She practices therapy utilizing the psychodynamic and person-centered approach. She believes in leading an individual to find their inner passion and purpose for life. She offers tools to assist in the areas of: life transitions, sexual preference/orientation, relationships, career, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, ADHD, ADD and learning disabilities. 

Jenna offers flexible work hours that include weekends, evening, and virtual appointments.

Tamieka S. Caldwell, MA LLP MPH

Tamieka has worked in various human service professions before obtaining her Master’s Degree. Her experience includes case management, foster care, crisis counseling, and parent management. All these service roles provided a great foundation for what she brings to the session.

Tamieka obtained my Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University in 2007. After some time in the field, she wanted a greater understanding of health programming and outcomes so she pursued my Master of Public Health (MPH) at East Carolina University in 2010, with a concentration in Health Behavior.

The ideal client who would enjoy working with Tamieka has a desire to learn new coping skills and a thirst for gaining self-awareness. More than likely this individual feels sensitive and highly attuned to the world around them. Some goals may include improving relationships, boundaries with emotionally immature parents, self-acceptance, managing anxiety/depression, and managing chronic illness.  Tamieka firmly believes you are the expert of your experience. Her growing specialties are MCBT, DBT, CBT, and LGBTQ+ affirmative treatment. As your therapist, she will work with you to identify your needs and strengths. All services are person-centered.

Cara holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Wayne Stae, along with a limited license for clinical social work. As a veteran, she deeply understands the complexities that come with that experience. Specialized training in EMDR, allows her to be highly effective for trauma and anxieties,as well as expertise in attachment styles and CBT. She works with couples and individuals in an aray of topics including depression, anxiety, trauma, childhood trauma, relationships and much more. Cara is committed to continually expanding her skill set to better assist her clients. Her approach to therapy is characterized by curiosity, empathy, and compassion, particularly when addressing issues of sex and shame, uncovering patterns, and delving into personal histories. As a therapist, Cara pledges to:

TIFFINI TREASTER LLPC

Tiffini Treaster strives to be unconventional with her approach to therapy using various methodologies to help clients reach their goals. She provides therapy to men and women as well as the developmentally disabled population. She works with various disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar, eating disorders, substance abuse, career change, parental challenges, ADHD and schizophrenia. She is moderately bilingual with Spanish and American Sign Language. She is currently undergoing study for American Sign Language, to be completed end of 2024.
